Analysis
After the Redesign
After the redesign, the cost of assembly and products was altered significantly. Below are the financial effects of our redesign.

Based on this, our prototype did extremely well since we decreased the fully burden costs, the assembly costs, the total capital investments, and the piece part cost! Our prototype did increase material costs, however, overall it decreases cost. The physical prototype is very aesthetically pleasing and functional with the exception of the strength of 3D printed material. The analysis is that this product is cost-effective and utilizes the same manufacturing methods as previously so the total investment costs are probably lower than the one given by aPriori as well. The only setback is that the new model might be less easy to unjam but this was a problem in the original as well.
In order to test our redesigned product, a DOE was carried out. See next subpage for details
